Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 3, 2026

Overview

ScanHub ("we," "us," or "our") provides a listing, repricing, and profit-tracking platform for Amazon book sellers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, where it is stored, and the choices you have. By using ScanHub, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

We collect two categories of information:

  • Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and authentication credentials, along with billing details processed by our payment provider.
  • Amazon Seller data. When you connect your Amazon Seller account, we access data from your account through the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API), as described below.

Amazon SP-API Data We Access

With your authorization, ScanHub accesses the following data from your Amazon Seller account via the Amazon Selling Partner API:

  • Catalog data — product details such as titles, identifiers (ISBN/UPC/ASIN), and sales rank, used to look up items you scan.
  • Listing data — your listings, SKUs, conditions, and quantities, used to create and manage your listings.
  • Orders data — your order history and order details, used to calculate sales and profit.
  • Pricing data — current offers and competitive pricing information, used to power repricing rules.

How We Use Your Data

We use your account information and Amazon Seller data solely to provide ScanHub's listing, repricing, and profit-tracking features to you. We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers necessary to operate ScanHub.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored with Supabase on infrastructure located in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit, and access is restricted to your authenticated account. Amazon API credentials are stored securely and never exposed to other users.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you cancel your account, your data — including all Amazon Seller data we have accessed via SP-API — is deleted. You may also request deletion of specific data at any time using the contact below.

Your Rights

You may, at any time, request that we:

  • Provide access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Delete your data, including your full account.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below. We respond to all requests within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the effective date above and notify active users by email before the changes take effect.
